Walking -  Numerous opportunities to explore Bredon Hill (within walking distance of the cottage), The Malverns, The Worcestershire Way, The Severn Way.  The Cotswold way and along the river Avon. Routes for all ages and abilities.

 

Mountain biking - Routes over and around Bredon Hill, The Malverns, Forest of Dean and Wyre Forest.

 

Road cycling - A good base for road cycling in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire.

 

Canoeing - Flat water canoeing on the River Avon and River Severn. Local weir has a good standing wave for the more intrepid.

 

Wildlife spotting - Gwen Finch Nature Reserve just 150 yards from the property is home to many migratory and water birds and otters (unfortunately not accessible to the public  - although visible from the cottage).  Kingfishers on the River Avon. Wild deer on Bredon Hill and along the river banks and fields.

 

Fishing - Good fishing on the Rivers Avon and Severn. Lake fishing near Tewkesbury.

 

Sightseeing - Malvern, Worcester, Pershore, Evesham, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stratford and The Cotswolds all within a short drive.

 

Relaxing -  Relax and enjoy the gardens and glorious views from the cottage,   

Double garage available for storage of bikes, canoes and fishing equipment. Clothes drying available in utility room and garage.
